Schedule for Keyes-Obama debates announced
Three debates confirmed for October
Alan Keyes and Barack Obama will be debating at least three times before the November 2 election.
All three debates will be held in October--on the 12th, 21st, and 26th.
- Tuesday, Oct. 12
Illinois Radio Network debate in Springfield (Old State Capitol building).
The debate will also be broadcast nationally by ABC News Now--a joint venture between ABC News and AOL. If you're an AOL subscriber, and you've paid for the ABC News Now feed, you can watch this debate on your computer.
- Thursday, Oct. 21
League of Women Voters / WLS Channel 7 (Chicago ABC affiliate).
This debate will be broadcast in the Chicago area by WLS-7. The exact time has yet to be determined.
- Tuesday, Oct. 26
City Club of Chicago / WTTW Channel 11 (local PBS affiliate). 7-8 PM.
Alan Keyes and Barack Obama will also make a joint appearance at the Metropolitan Planning Council Annual Luncheon, on October 7 between 11 a.m and 1:30 p.m.--at a location still to be determined.
More details about the Keyes-Obama debates will be posted as they become available.
