Suggestions for making signs to promote Friday's C-SPAN 2 broadcast of the first debate

David H. Braun
October 14, 2004

Attached are four word documents: two sample sign layouts and all the letters to make each sample sign. I suggest these be put on the website and/or e-mailed to everyone by tomorrow morning, with the suggestion that people print them out and attach them to their own sign board with tape. The sign-making kits I will produce for Monday's Christian Liberty Academy meeting will be printed on several colors of paper.

I also suggest people be advised to strap a Keyes sign of some sort on their back and chest. As I have already written, I will make up some signs for this purpose for Monday, using Keyes yard signs reinforced with cardboard, with straps of blue duct tape. I may not have enough cardboard to create many wearable Keyes signs, so, if you think this is a good idea, please make some yourself.

MS-Word seems to have some problems with making full-page letters, so these letters are a little smaller than they should be in order to fill out a 40"x30" sign. If anyone knows how to enlarge them a little, please do. The "7" and the "2", in particular, should fill out a full page.

Letters other than "7" and "2" were elongated using Font--Character spacing--Scale--50%.
